Revised : Reflection Task 3

 "ALLONS-Y!"
I have chosen David Tennant as a candidate for person of the year. He is a Scottish actor and was born in 1971. He became famous with his role of “The Doctor” in Doctor Who. As far as I know from his interviews, when he was a child, he grew up with watching the TV series: Doctor Who -mainly the fifth doctor- Peter Davison. Fortunately, in 2005, David became a member of Doctor Who family, and married to daughter of Peter Davison. They have one little daughter. Actually, this is a very sweet incident in itself.
With his Scottish accent and lovely companions, David is always seen as the best-loved and greatest doctor of all the time.  I think it is because of his both fragile and heroic personality.  When it comes to a tragic episode, he can incredibly give us the emotion of sadness. Likewise, when it comes to the funniest episode, he can give us the emotion of fun and joy with not only his words but also his body movements and mimics. Therefore, his quitting from Doctor Who is undoubtedly the most tragic event for his fans.
On the other hand, when he left the Doctor Who in 2010, he started to work for Royal Shakespeare Company. It is said that British people started to take interest in Shakespeare after David Tennant had interpreted his works of art. What I mean is, he is a great actor.
All in all, I have chosen him because so many people still love David Tennant because he is so effortlessly lovable. He charmed his way into the hearts of the nation with his youthful energetic portrayal of the ancient Time Lord. It is not something that we can say about most Doctor Who actors.
